Whether you believe in it or not, climate change IS a real thing. Tonight, show your support by turning off your lights for Earth Hour 2017.
It’s just an hour people, you can do it.
Earth Hour was created by the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF) in 2007 to increase awareness about energy consumption and environmental issues, including global warming and the destruction of natural habitats across the world.
It encourages people, as well as businesses, to shut off electricity to save energy and show support for environmental sustainability.
Last year, millions around the world in 178 countries came together in solidarity with action to preserve Earth. 350 landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, the Empire Sate Building, and Buckingham Palace all participated.
In 2016, Paris was awarded the Global Earth Hour Capital of 2016 for it’s longterm commitment to sustainability.
So this evening, please show your support in helping our planet by turning off your lights at 8:30pm.
