Last Friday, President Trump signed an executive order to ban immigrants from 7 Muslim-dense countries from entering the U.S—which was temporarily stopped by U.S. District Attorney Ann Donnelly.
Celebrities shared their thoughts and reactions on Twitter, the majority of which were against it. Rihanna is one such celebrity, who Tweeted that she was “disgusted,” but found herself on the receiving end of Azealia Banks’ wrath, who defended Trump.
Disgusted! The news is devastating! America is being ruined right before our eyes! What an immoral pig you have to be to implement such BS!!

Banks retaliated with an Instagram post that read:
“As far as Rihanna (who isn’t a citizen, and can’t vote) and all the rest of the celebrities who are using their influence to stir the public, you lot really REALLY need to shut up and sit down. Stop chastising the president. It’s stupid and pathetic to watch. All of these confused people confuse other confused people.”
The post has since been removed.
Rihanna later posted an image of herself on Instagram making a face with the caption “the face you make when you a immigrant,” adding hashtags #stayawayfromthechickens #iheartnuggets and #saveourhens, in reference to Banks’ video in which she suggested she had been killing chickens in ritualistic sacrifices for 3 years as a witch.
Banks threw up this picture in response, complete with a chicken and knife icon as the caption.
The bantering continued back and forth Sunday afternoon, with Rihanna posting another picture of a man sitting in a chair with an American flag over his face, captioned “the face you make when you screaming in an empty room.”
Banks put up an image of a witch with the words “I am a Witch, don’t push me. Knocking me down is the easy part. If you want me to stay there trust me, you will need backup” written across it.
Rihanna also shared a pic of herself pouting with the caption “what u came for:”
And Banks egged her on with this pic:
The Sun also reported that the singers were posting screen shots of angry text messages between them, which also revealed their phone numbers. The numbers have since been disconnected and the screen shots removed, as have many of the mentioned posts.
This isn’t the first time that Banks has engaged in social media feuds. Last year she was suspended from Twitter after a racist tirade against Zayne Malik, and has also been involved in arguments with Sia and Sara Palin.
It all seems a little juvenile, don’t ya think?
