Jennifer Lopez got the third degree from Ellen regarding her rumoured romance with Drake on Tuesday’s episode. Lopez skirted around the question, responding with, “We did a song together, if that’s what you’re asking.”
Ellen pushed a little more, bringing up pictures of the two embracing and joking that she doesn’t hang out with her friends like that. Lopez continued to be a little evasive, explaining that Drake just wanted her to be on a song, which she got on, and Ellen laughed, “But you got on the song. What’s that mean? I don’t know your straight lingo.” Ah Ellen. Always the witty one.
The conversation turned to Lopez’s reputation for only dating younger men, given that Drake is 17 years younger than the 47-year-old Lopez, which was clearly a touchy subject for Lopez:
“Okay, first of all: Stop. I don’t date younger men. It’s not like you have to be younger; it’s not about that,” she said. “It’s about the person. It’s about who they are. It has nothing to do with age. … It’s about whether or not I’m attracted to them or not — attracted to their spirit, their soul, their energy.”
She later played a game of “Who’d You Rather,” which really didn’t help matters.
