When Donald Trump becomes President of the United States he will replace Barrack Obama’s limousine, conveniently nicknamed “The Beast,” with the new-and-improved “Cadillac One” which will make its debut on inauguration day.
The Cadillac One isn’t like your normal Cadillac limousine. It’s equipped with shotguns, tear gas cannons, first aid supplies, including blood packs containing the president’s blood type as well as it’s own oxygen supply.
The Cadillac limo will seat seven people in a 2+3+2 layout, meaning five passengers in the rear compartment and two in the front. For the most part the Cadillac One will be used to transfer the president from Air Force One to destinations usually 30 minutes or less from the aircraft as well as at home on American soil.
The windows and doors will be thick enough to stop armour-piercing bullets, the doors will be so heavy they won’t be able to be opened from the inside and the body panels will have 8 inches or more of military grade armour, making the vehicle weigh upwards of 8 tons.
The steal rims on the car, which have a kevlar shell, are strong enough to drive on. The body of the car is sealed to withstand chemical and biological attacks, and has an undercarriage shield designed to withstand roadside bombs.
According to reports, General Motors has been paid approximately 15 million dollars to design and build the Cadillac One.
The limo has also been fitted with GPS tracking far superior to your average vehicle, satellite communication, and night vision cameras.
With a price tag of 1.5 million dollars I doubt any of us can afford to have our own Cadillac One. One can dream though.
